Week 32 Day 1 summary of events
(1) Children were given their own art kits
(2) Activity 1 was coloring worksheet of Karen Blixen
(3) Activity 2 they learnt how to use circles to draw and drew animals or birds
(4) Activity 3 they painted their own drawings with oil colors (on thick paper) – So they understood how to work with thick (140 gsm) paper
(5) Activity 4 they started painting the first coat of oil colors (blue & brown) on 2 canvases each (20 x 20 cm) They have selected two nature painting ideas that they will continue to work with in the coming days
Week 32 Day 2 summary of events
(1) Activity 1 coloring worksheet of Serena Williams
(2) Activity 2 they learnt how to use circles to draw and drew animals or birds
(3) Activity 3 they painted their own drawings with oil colors (on thick paper) – So they understood how to work with thick (140 gsm) paper
(4) Activity 4 children worked on their 1st 20 x 20 cm canvas oil painting 🙂 Some of them have even started working on their 2nd canvas 🙂
Week 32 Day 3 summary of events
(1) Activity 1 coloring worksheet of Kalpana Chawla
(2) Activity 2 children learnt how to use various pencil types and learnt to draw and shade eyes using those pencils. Focus was that they learnt good finger movements. They have also used a 180 gsm paper to understand differences between the different types of art papers
(3) Activity 3 children continued finished their 1st 20 x 20 cm canvas oil on canvas painting today and started on their 2nd painting🤗
Week 32 Day 4 summary of events
(1) Activity 1 children learnt how to use various pencil types and learnt to draw and shade baby faces using those pencils. Focus was that they learnt good hand movements.
(2) Activity 2 children finished their 2nd 20 x 20 cm canvas oil on canvas painting today
(3) Activity 3 Children started working on their 3rd oil on canvas painting. Some of them have moved to a larger canvas (i.e.) 30x40 cm.

(2) Activity 2 children finished their 3rd or 4th oil on canvas painting today
